Ingredients

Instructions

  • Make sure your butter is soft – room temp is perfect, or microwave it for a few seconds.
  • Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl or a kitchen machine.
  • Mix everything well until a soft but firm dough forms. The dough should come together smoothly, leaving no residue on the sides of the bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel or place the dough in an airtight container. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into three equal pieces and shape them into dough balls, creating surface tension as you form them.
  • Place the dough balls into a 9.5 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  • Cover with a kitchen towel again and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Once risen, place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let the loaf cool completely on a cooling rack before slicing.

Notes

This sandwich bread is a great alternative to traditional whole grain bread.
It’s quick and easy to make, soft in texture, and absolutely delicious for all your favorite sandwiches. The loaf freezes beautifully and can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months – perfect for meal prep and busy days. For short-term storage, simply keep it in a bread box on your counter. It stays fresh for up to 5 days.
