Ingredients
- 1,4 oz Ham - Note 1
- 1,1 oz Leek - Note 2
- 3 tsp Sour Cream
- 1 tsp Bread Crumbs
- 4 EL Shredded Cheese - Note 3
Equipment
1 Knife and Cutting Board
Instructions
- Place the ham and leeks into a food processor and blend briefly, just enough to chop them. The mixture should not be too fine. Alternatively, you can chop them with a knife and fold them together. Both methods work for this preparation.
- Fold in the breadcrumbs and sour cream with a spatula, mixing until well combined.
- Next, fold in the shredded cheese until fully combined.
- Stuff the filling into the holes of the pretzels.
- Bake for about 15 minutes at 350℉ (180℃) until golden brown.
Notes
Note 1: You can also use turkey deli meat or any other deli meat you prefer.
Note 2: If you don’t have leek on hand, green onions make a great substitute.
Note 3: We prefer Swiss cheese, but feel free to use your favorite cheese instead.
Tip: Feel free to spread the filling on a dinner roll, bun, or toast and bake it – it works wonderfully and tastes delicious. You may need to reduce the baking time, so keep an eye on it. Frozen pretzels or dinner rolls will also work! Enjoy!
